A graduated set of six "Arita" porcelain bowls, I believe these are first half 20th C. Though they could very well be earlier, Japanese porcelain is not my forte. Largest is 9" across and 3.75" high smallest is 4.25 X 1.8" high. $250 the set. These came from the estate of a long time dealer in Westchester county NY, Elizabeth Trace, who was the second longest exhibitor at the countries most prestigious show, the Armory. Her son Jonathan is a good friend of ours and we bought all the stuff that wasn't important enough for Sotheby's. Hope this helps Elizabeth Trace |
