A Vermont Marble Company Civil War era advertising photograph #6-1066-1450

Photograph of the Interior of a grocery store

A panoramic photograph of Dorset Vermont. In the close up you can see Peltier's market on the left and the Dorset Congregational Church spire in the center and the Dorset Field Club's clubhouse on the on the right. The Dorset Field Club, originally founded in 1886, is the oldest course in America.

An Edward S. Curtis (American 1868 to 1952) photographic print of an Native American Indian in an amazing birch-bark frame with toad stools
SOLD - Original Mathew Brady photograph of General Winfield Scott (1786-1866). Scott was a Union General from Virginia. A hero of the War with Mexico and the War of 1812, he became General in Chief of the Army in 1841 and remained in that position when the Civil War began. Photo is as shown, with some condition issues, we can give you the name and address of conservators and restorers if you like. Please look closely at our images, top picture was taken with a camera and the others were scanned, true color is somewhere closer to the top one. Picture has water stain, mostly on the backing and is not as bad as scan makes it look (yeah right your saying, but it's true). Corners of backing are chewed up, as shown, and a slight fold in left top corner and with rubs and losses. This is obviously not perfect but quite appealing all the same, the scans and photos always make it look rougher then in person
