SOLD - $3500 - A mint condition Russian silver bulldog with the "88" hallmark, Ca. 1910. 7" tip to tail, 4.25" tall. This is much too heavy for my scales so I weighed it at "The Vermont Kitchen Supply" next door and on their best scale it came in at 1 lbs 5.5 oz Avoir. #-42-10047-4050

  Federal Tea Set. New York Ca 1790 18th C. New York Neoclassical Federal Sterling Tea Service. Maker's mark of John Sayre, worked Southampton N.Y. & New York N.Y. circa 1790 Comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl, and cream jug; the rims bright-cut engraved with bands of swagging & ribbons, the side engraved with crossed fronds enclosing on one side the monogram TAW, the teapot with wood handle (nicely reglued old break), high-domed hinged cover with urn-form finials, marked under base and rim of foot. The teapot 12 in. long over handle, 7.5" tall; gross weight 40 troy oz. 6-10105-10.650
