  SOLD -$950 - 19th C. Cast Iron Boot Scraper with Griffins, swagging, pawed feet and draped foliage. The best one we've ever had. 14.5" beak to beak and 10.5" tall. Very heavy probably 40Lbs. Nice old finish, looks much much better in person - #3-9283-1150

  SOLD - Espaliered tree form hand wrought iron trellises.
The surface is fabulous, installed outside on a garden wall for the last 80 years
they have that wonderful weathered glassy patina that you only find on old
hand hammered coal forged ironwork.
freestanding, or reinstall on a wall.
The artist who designed and sculpted these works was certainly a master of the medium.

Commissioned in the 1920's by Josephine Earle for her estate "Gypsy Trail " in Kent NY. Josephine was a
successful screen actress and had performed in a movie of the same name in 1915.
They were installed outside there until the late 80's when a neighbor bought them from her daughter.
We are the third owners. Supposedly there is similar set installed at the DuPont mansion in Delaware.

An old hand hammered fused Sheffield plate hot water urn. Paw feet w/ budding acanthus finial. An elaborate family crestwhich translates from the Latin to "Patience, persistence and magnanimity" English, Ca !825 - #6-9013-850

    A fine pair of 19th Century four-light French Second Empire patinated-bronze and ormolu candelabra. Well-cast on animal paw tripod bases rising to tapered fluted Corinthian columns with acanthus decoration supporting three foliate molded scrolling candle branches with dore bobeches of exquisite detail and excellent original patina.

    Hand Hammered Copper Candy Kettle. Very very heavy weight commercial type 22" across top of bowl, the handles make it 28" and it's 10" high. This has got a lot of dents in the bottom, depending upon what you were going to us it for it may or may not need to go to the copper pot dent repair shop. - #3-11013-240

   A rare J.L. Mott & Co. laurel pattern cast iron garden bench with winged griffin . Crescent-shaped seat and back. Branching floral back has nine graduated panels terminating in griffin head at ends forming the arms. The griffins' spread wings are bracing under seat and legs and feet are front bench legs and feet. Branch theme of back continues to rear legs. Seat has open scrollwork design. This was pictured in the Mott catalogue of 1889, plate 35. This is an adaptation of a Coalbrookdale design of a few years earlier - #6-9013-20503

It's a heavy duty industrial "Rocks Cabmaster"

with 8" drums which purrs like a kitten.

Perfect running condition "Dayton" capacitor start 1/3 HP 6 amp 1725 RPMs electric motor

with sleeve bearings ready to go to work. It has an extra wheel which i have included a

shot of at the bottom of the pics. This machine has sat unused in our warehouse for a

number of years so it's a little dusty. Please email us with any questions.
