October 5th, Paragliding at a small SW private site in Vermont. 2100 MSL 1000 AGL. The season is fast winding down and we are all scrambling to be in the right place at the right time. The weather report was for no wind and lousy soaring potential but just to be sure and on the off chance it might be working, I went to an LZ of a site I thought would have the best potential. Checking the wind generators at launch from the valley, I can see it's gonna be an epic day! The camera freezes the rotors motion but trust me those puppies are hummin! It's unbelievable how wrong the weather reports can be even in "Real Time"! Cell phones don't work out here so I have to drive down to town to make the call at the local general store payphone . The wind posse postpones real life for awhile and charges to the launch for one of the summers last great days. Just after mid-day Brian and Clarke Comollo launch, then Luiz and finally Bo. I got a nice series of photo's of Bo launching, while I was basically parked above and behind the "Cuisinart", remember that thing is really spinning! Then some shots of Brian and Luiz doing the dance while top-landing. Brian heads out and Luiz launches again. We get lucky and fly for hours and hours, till the setting sun shuts down the thermals. Time for a pop!

Till we Paraglide again!
